ACTIVEWEAR QUICK CARE GUIDE

Please read the specific care instructions to ensure  your Activewear is kept in perfect condition. We’re also mindful of the impact that keeping your Activewear ‘fresh’ can have on the environment. So, our care instructions are as eco-friendly as possible. Check out the individual care label, as they do vary between styles.
But here are the basics:

  • Cold wash with same colours

  • Air or line dry in the shade, no-no to the tumble dryer (better for the environment and saves power too) and YES to wash bags*

  • Keep your colours as bright as bright by pre-washing in cold water with a teaspoon of salt.

Don’t
  • Hand wash your swimsuit in the sink using mild soap (with no moisturizers, as a detergent) every time you wear it, even if you don't go to the water. 
  • Don’t wash your swimsuit in washing machine. Don’t use laundry detergent or bleach and don't soak it overnight.
  • Do NEVER use the Dryer. 
  • Lay your swimsuit flat to dry.
  • Don’t hang your swimsuit to dry. Don’t let a swimsuit dry directly in the sun.
  • Alternate swimsuits to allow fabric to rest.  Your swimsuit should not be worn on consecutive days. It usually takes 24 hours for a swim piece to get back to it's original shape. 
  • Don't sit on rough surfaces while wearing a swimsuit. The concrete beside the pool or wood from the lounge chairs may snag the swimsuit material. 
  • Avoid hot tubs and oil contact.
  • Don’t store it wet or in a place with no ventilation.
